Kenna Management Group has become the first Indian company to join the ASL BiSL Foundation. Kenna Management Group is a leader in training and certification services. The company has a track record in ITIL, Six Sigma, Lean and Soft Skills, and has now added ASL to its portfolio.
Mr Dinesh Sarvodey, Vice President Strategic Operations: "We believe in the added value of the Application Service Library (ASL) as a process framework for professionalising Application Management and have added it to our portfolio of courses. We are already an EXIN Accredited Examination Center and will also offer certification at the ASL Foundations level." The Dutch Standard for Application Management (NEN 3434) is based on the ASL Framework and is currently being evaluated for promotion to an international ISO standard for Application Management. The fast track for this standard, ISO 26500, has started since last week. The ASL BiSL Foundation was founded in 2002 and is a professional association for Information Management and Application Management. The Foundation helps organizations improve the quality and maturity of their IT from both a business and an IT perspective. The Foundation is based in the Netherlands with 30 member organizations from both Demand and Supply side of the IT equation. Mrs Lucille van der Hagen, managing director, has noticed an increase in interest from India. "In 2008 we were invited to speak at several events in India and we have now reached out to more than 300 professionals in India. The interest this generated prompted us to appoint an Ambassador to represent us locally. Recently 30 professionals at an IT Service Provider in Hyderabad have completed the official EXIN ASL Foundation certification. We are delighted that Kenna Management Group will be giving ASL courses in Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Ahmedabad."
