ASL's goal is the professional development of application management 
This is achieved by offering a framework within which the processes of application management are brought in relation to each other. The framework also serves as a steppingstone for categorising best practises that have been developed. In addition to the framework, ASL contains a uniform glossary. By using the terminology contained in this glossary, parties concerned with applications management are in a better position to communicate with each other.

Aim of this site
The aim of this site is to provide more information about ASL and to show interested people, companies and institutions how to use ASL. It also contains information on how you can be of help in the further development of ASL.

ASL is a public domain process framework. This means that everybody can use the knowledge provided in this framework and its related 'best practices'.
